Request account and data deletion
How to ask us to delete your Sthan user account and the personal data attached to it.
Sthan is a business CRM used by real-estate developers and their sales teams. Your Sthan account is created and managed by your employer — the company that subscribes to Sthan. This page explains how to have your user account and the personal data attached to it deleted, exactly what that removes, and which records stay with your employer as their own business data.
1. How to request deletion
Email support@sthan.org from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". Sending the request from the email address on your account lets us verify that the request is really yours before we act on it.
Alternatively, ask your company's Sthan administrator, who can remove your user account directly from Settings → Users. If you are unsure who administers Sthan at your company, write to us and we will point you in the right direction.
2. What is deleted
We delete your user account and the personal data that identifies you as an individual:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- your email address;
- your login sessions;
- your device push tokens;
- your personal preferences.
Once this is done, you can no longer sign in, and the personal profile that belonged to you is removed from the workspace.
3. What is retained, and why
Records of business activity you carried out on behalf of your employer — leads you worked, calls you logged, site visits, and bookings you processed — remain the property of your employer, who is the Sthan account holder. These are that company's business records, not personal data you control.
They are retained under their control and are subject to their own legal retention obligations, including RERA and Indian tax law. Deleting your user account does not, and cannot, remove these business records, because they do not belong to you to delete.
4. Timeline
Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days of verification. We verify the request first — usually by confirming it came from your registered email address — and then remove your account and personal data within that window.
5. Questions
If you have any question about deleting your account or the data attached to it, write to us at support@sthan.org and we will help.
