Terms of Service

By using sthan.org and the Sthan platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Sthan on behalf of a company or firm, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for that organisation. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

Sthan is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) customer relationship management platform built for real-estate developers in India. It covers the sales lifecycle from lead capture through to booking, collections, and possession, and it is operated by Upraqx, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We provide the platform on a subscription basis and improve it continuously; specific features may be added, changed, or retired as the product develops.

Sthan is offered on the plans published on our pricing page. At the time of writing, these are a per-project plan at ₹8,000 per active project per month and an Unlimited Bundle at ₹25,000 per month flat for any number of projects. The pricing page is the current source of truth for what you pay; if these terms and the pricing page ever differ on figures, the pricing page governs.

Billing is monthly. New customers get a 7-day free trial on their first project. A card is required to start the trial so that it can convert smoothly into a paid subscription, but no charge is made during the seven-day trial period. After the trial, the subscription bills monthly until you cancel. All prices are exclusive of GST, which is added at the applicable rate.

Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: you can cancel at any time, cancellation stops future billing, and we do not refund the current billing month once a paid subscription has begun. The 7-day free trial exists so that you can evaluate Sthan fully before paying anything.

The data you put into Sthan — your leads, projects, bookings, documents, and customer records — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you. We give you tools to export your data and to delete it. If you cancel, you have a window to export everything before it is removed (see clause 9). We act as a custodian of your data, not its owner.

The Sthan platform itself — its software, source code, design, user interface, brand, name, and logo — is the intellectual property of Upraqx. Your subscription gives you the right to use the platform; it does not transfer any ownership of the platform to you. You may not copy, resell, or rebrand the platform, and you may not use the Sthan or Upraqx names or marks without our written permission.

You agree to use Sthan lawfully and responsibly. You will not use the platform to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages in breach of applicable law, to store or transmit anything illegal, to harass or harm others, or to attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform or to other customers' data. We design Sthan with tenant isolation so that one customer's data is not accessible to another, and we expect you not to attempt to circumvent that. Misuse may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

We work hard to keep Sthan reliable, but we provide the service on an "as available" basis and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Upraqx is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost bookings, or lost data beyond what our backups hold — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where Indian law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019) provides protections that cannot be waived, those protections apply notwithstanding this clause.

Either you or we may terminate this agreement. You can terminate by cancelling your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that harms the platform or other customers. On termination for any reason, you have thirty days to export your data, after which we will delete your workspace and its contents from our active systems. We will not hold your data hostage; export tools remain available to you throughout that window.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Before going to court, we ask that you contact us first — most issues are resolved faster by a direct conversation than by a legal notice.

We may revise these terms as the product and the law evolve. We will post the updated terms on this page with a new "last updated" date. For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations as a paying customer, we will notify you by email. Continuing to use Sthan after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
